Vama Isaccea- May
Yesterday we received a visit from representatives of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development office and the UK Embassy in Romania as part of our Blue Dot Isaccea programmes.
The purpose of the visit was to analyse the needs and present the service providers present in Isaccea Customs.
Mr. Neil Barry (Regional Humanitarian Adviser, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office; London) and Mr. Ahmed Patel (Head of Foreign and Security Policy, British Embassy Bucharest)
focused their attention on the elements of protection against human trafficking, refugee registration and referral processes and the general flow of services offered at Blue Dot Isaccea.
The delegation was led by our colleagues from UNHCR.
Colleagues from ISU, CARE/SERA, UNICEF, Save the Children Tulcea, NRCR and IOM attended the meeting.
